"Then he said to me, "Son of man, eat this scroll I am giving you and fill your stomach with it." So I ate it, and it tasted as sweet as honey in my mouth." - Ezekiel 3:3
Yummy...
Went to attend this Bible study yesterday night... Gotta be the biggest BS anywhere... 300+ people weekly. What attracted me was when I heard that (Rev Zhang Ke Fu) was gonna teach the book of Ezekiel. Man, I mean... Never have I heard of anyone doing Ezekiel. Never seen it anywhere in books even.
I learnt a few things yesterday...
1) God's Word is sweet... And we're really previleged to have a God who talks to us eh. And looking at three hundred plus peeps who come week in week out (for 7 years already???), it goes to show how passionate people are for the Word. So, if you long for God to speak to you, start hitting the Book...
2) We're really a blessed bunch of people... To be able to be bi-lingual! Even if you hate Chinese, or the Chinese services you had to sit through, think about it... We have now double the resources, double the everything... Imagine we didn't get a chance to learn Chinese in school... We wouldn't have access to manga, Mayday, Initial D, Jay Chou, mission trips, great bible studies, and probably no ang pows during CNY.
3) Geylang got good food.
