Ladies and gentleman.
Six of the most promising talents that ever graced NLCYM will be heading north....all the way north.....Yi Lu Xiang Bei......to Chiangrai. Most importantly, they are doing it for God. GOD! Perhaps, in years to come, the group of people will epitomize every great and legendary missionary. In fact, all missionaries are the finest. No one in incomparable. But as a veteran myself, I can say you will receive the rock star treatment as the kids will "stalk" you as if you are a superstar. But as we focus, to hell with the treatment. That's totally bulls**t. We go up there to teach and spread the greatest and irreplacable gospel of all time. I will never forget the times where I spend one week and 100 over hours of community service at the hilltop, looking down and laughing at you guys. But it wasn't intentional. It was prompted. We are all being conducive here, trying to help the less fortunate ones. But come to think about it, from a mentality's perspective, they suffer less than us in terms of stress and etc. You know what I mean. To conclude, Jared, this time, beat Team Village Chiangrai physically. Whether it's ping-pong, soccer or basketball, trash them for the love of fun. Here's the lineup:
Basketball:
Vincent (Center), Emmanuel (SF), Joel (PG), Zhi Xiang (SG), Jared (PG)
Soccer (5 a side):
Zhi Xiang (GK), Joel (DF), Vincent (DMC). Jared (AMC; Playmaker), Emmanuel (SC)
Do Team Newton proud.
Under the tutelage of a couple of unique individuals, you guys can definitely achieve greater heights.
