Well, this is it, funfair this Sunday, exams on Monday, Thai village in 13 days. So many things and yet so little time...Somehow, after church last Sunday, i felt God reminding me the need for prayer in the church. Jesus once said that if we faith as small as a mustard seed, God will move mountains!

And so I asked myself honestly, when was the last time i spent time on my knees praying to God?

And my answer was: a very very long time ago....(but not in a galaxy far far away!)

Yep i guess in our "busy" lives of working, playing or even "ministry", its easy to forget to pray ya? Especially when I feel that "prayer" is something easily taken for granted. And so it was then that God reminded me how i've long ago it has been since i've sincerely prayed for the ministry, small grp, family, myself even sometimes forgetting to say grace.

And so my dear friends/brothers/sisters, when was the last time YOU really sat down to pray? or spoke to God in prayer? If you have been praying, thank God for your faithfulness! But if you haven it's not too late to start now like me!

In fact after reading this post, won't you just take some time to quiet your heart and pray?

Here are some prayer pointers:

1. Start by giving thanks to God all that He has done for you! Praising and thanking Him for all the blessings He has given you. Or if you have burdens, won't you just pour your sorrows out to our dear Father?

2. Thank God also for all that He has done for NLYM. Esp for bringing so many new friends to our midst! And providing NLYM with so many resources and talents!

3. Pray for the Family Funfair this weekend for NLC. Ask God will bless our church with many visitors and that God will provide Good weather as well as the funds for NLC to build our family centre. Pray esp for all the workers that God will grant them strength as well as warmth to welcome our visitors

4. Pray for NLYM! Pray for spiritual growth amongst our brothers and sisters as well as add to our number! Pray for Vincent that he will continue on to strive hard and for God's anointing!

5. Pray for all brothers and sisters who are struggling in their walk or those suffering persecution. Esp all the uni people who have exams on monday!!!

Together as a church, let's all pray hard and ask God to move in our church mightily k! Adopt P.U.S.H mentality, (Pray Until Something Happens) and let's look at how God moves amongst us! Remember that when we pray, exercise your faith, don't doubt, put your trust in God!

"7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses,
but we trust in the name of the LORD our God." Ps 20:7

Just my 2 cents worth,
Siming :)
